Linda Jamieson is a painter whose work has been closely associated with the North Norfolk coastal landscape for a while now. It is where she spends much of her time. For the last two years her work has moved away from observation and memory, toward a more imaginative use of landscape as a barometer of her own state of mind.

The space between sky, land and sea
Lorraine Bewick has taken tried and tested techniques in the tradition of figurative landscape painting and applied them to her own perspective of the English landscape. Based in North Norfolk her interest in interpreting Norfolk’s expansive skies and coastal reaches as liminal space treads a path mapped out by acknowledged masters of the genre, such as John Robert Cozens and JMW Turner.
