In 2022 Bill Jackson spent time at Timberyard in Great Glenham as part of the Continuum Project run by Studio Fabre-Hardy, He investigated the penumbral appearances around the trees, many...
In 2022 Bill Jackson spent time at Timberyard in Great Glenham as part of the Continuum Project run by Studio Fabre-Hardy, He investigated the penumbral appearances around the trees, many of which are ancient survivors. The subsequent stills were used to make the film called Imagine….. which was seen by the producers and music publishers of the estate of Nick Drake.
Jackson was asked to recut the film to fit the time frame of Nick Drake singing Pink Moon. It was part of the 50th anniversary of its release and the film was used to launch a new Nick Drake online TV channel. This led to Jackson being asked to make 23 films to accompany the new album The Endless Coloured Ways : The Songs Of Nick Drake in July 2023.
Imagine... Pink Moon are nine never before exhibited archival pigment prints, many of which were used in the Nick Drake version as well as Imagine ...
