Roger Hardy is a sculptor based in Suffolk. The starting point for his creative process begins with natural erosion and seasoning of his wooden component parts, often reclaimed from his local river, the Alde. These bring a sense of worn age to the finished sculptures or construction. Roger uses the natural processes in the degradation of his materials to simplify the essence of the human form.
