Her inspiration comes largely from the marshes and estuaries that surround her, but also from travels further afield. Drawn to the dramatic lines, strong shapes and vivid colours formed by shifts in light in the landscape her work acts as a visual diary, in particular walks taken. Caroline uses mixed media along with photographs and memories exploring colour, shape, texture and abstraction.
