Burnham Overy Staithe
Her inspiration comes largely from the marshes and estuaries that surround her, but also from travels further afield. Drawn to the dramatic lines, strong shapes and vivid colours formed by shifts in light in the landscape her work acts as a visual diary, in particular walks taken. Smaller works in mixed media are formed and they, along with photographs and memories, are used to develop larger works, enabling me her further explore colour, shape, texture and abstraction.
