Corruption
Glass, with its transparency, has an ability to refract light. These pieces are lenses which have been hand sculpted whilst in its hot liquid form, keeping the characteristics of molten glass, imitating water or rain drops with an ability to recreate nature.
With strict linier colour application, which shows true from one side, it then creates an erroneous state from the other side, projecting a view which is altered and distorted, continuously uncovering detail for the viewer. These hot sculpted forms demonstrate the ability to change the perception we encounter in all forms of nature and within our own lives.
